About a year ago I was looking for other brands of Scotch Whisky. At that point Johnnie Walker (Green and Blue) was my goto and favorite. And then I figured, why not try out that whisky that Ron White always drinks on stage? Had to do a little bit of research because he wouldn’t tell (because they don’t sponsor him) before I found a picture with him and a bottle. Compared all the Macallan bottles and found out it was the Macallan 18 Year Sherry Cask. So I told my best friend to order it as it was his turn to order online (while vacationing in a non-urban area). He ordered the Fine Cask instead, so I figured I’d drink that before ordering the right one. By then, it was impossible to get a hold of. Vinmonopolet doesn’t carry it, the Norwegian importer can’t get one and claims it’s in too high of demand and that the Nordic market isn’t a priority. And no one outside of Norway is willing to export one for me. It looks like I have to visit Scotland if I ever want to taste it..
